Purchased this to try out Posietint and That Gal. I have medium-tone somewhat oily skin, and am looking for products to even my skin out a bit but still look natural. Blush is my only makeup essential and the liquid tint sounded neat since I don’t like the powdery look.br /br /That Gal didn’t seem to change my skin much, but made a great base and smelled great! Some-Kinda Gorgeous evened out my skin tone without hiding it, like a tinted moisturizer but with more staying power. It blends extremely well on me. Posietint was very easy to apply but too light to really show up on me. I used a tiny bit of the highlighter to add some shine back to my cheekbones and temples.br /br /I’m very glad I tried this sample kit first! I got enough foundation and highlighter to last me a while, and would probably not have tried the highlighter otherwise. I’m going to order a full-size Benetint. Not sure about the primer yet; I’ll have to try with and without a few times. When I run low I may just get this kit again; it’s a great value and my sisters could use the Posietint.

Up until four months ago I was on the fence about buying Some kind a Gorgeous and high beam, especially for the price. With Benefit you get a lot for the price, but most products are either love em or hate em. This for 10 dollars though was no risk at all.br /br /I now religiously use Some Kind a Gorgeous during the summer and hotter months, it is absolutely amazing and this tiny little jar lasted me two weeks before I had to go out and spend the 25 on my own. I still have tons left in the full size one.br /br /High beam is beautiful. I adore wearing it on my eyelids, cheek bones and just a dash over my collar bones when I’m wearing a dress. It is a lovely ethereal color, and one that I’m glad I got in my package.br /br /The lip stain is a little too bubble gum pink for me, but like all of benefit’s lip stains it last a while (though I never use them on my cheeks I have red skin) and is a good purchase if you find a color you like.br /br /The Primer makes me break out, but in all fairness most primers (but Make up forever’s HD prime) do. However for 10 dollars I gave the lip stain and primer to my mother and she adores both. If you’re on the fence about any of these products just buy this beauty to go package, you won’t regret it and for 10 dollars you get a lot.

I have been using Oil of Olay Beauty Fluid for Sensitive Skin for well over 15 years. I have dry skin and must moisturize immediately after I shower. It is non-greasy, absorbs quickly, light, and instantly moisturizes my face. I never have break-outs or clogged pores (at least not due to this moisturizer.) I have found other moisturizers to not absorb well, leaving a greasy sheen on my face, or to be too perfumy, or to discolor in the bottle over time. Additionally I live in a very humid climate and I need moisturizer to absorb instantly, not linger on my skin and soon mix with sweat and have to be wiped off.br /br /For some reason you can buy regular Oil of Olay Beauty Fluid in the stores but not the type for Sensitive Skin, so I have to buy this product online. I prefer the Sensitive Skin version because it has no scent – for some reason my husband doesn’t like the scent of regular Oil of Olay.

I love Dove soap. It’s my favorite. I don’t like liquid soap which to me seems to be way expensive wasteful. So when my daughter called and asked if we had Dove soap at home I said, “Yes, we always do.” But then she stipulated unscented…I never knew there was such a thing. She went on to say that she was going to get a spray tan a few soaps were recommended because their PH level was lower they don’t contain mineral oil, baby oil, etc. Dove soap for sensitive skin/unscented is also recommended to maintain the spray tan. Soaps that have mineral oil or high alcohol can strip and breakdown the tan faster. She purchased the Dove for sensitive skin/unscented, her tan looks absolutely wonderful will last longer because she’ll use this soap along with Jergens Shea Butter Lotion – 16.8 oz.. Who knew there are so many rules…98% of which I didn’t add to this review…for getting a spray tan!?!

I found this amazing sponge while searching the net for the flocked sponges I had been using for sometime. After using this “pink egg” for well over a month, I won’t be returning to the traditional methods ever again! Using this sponge in the prescribed “bouncing” motion (either wet or dry) provides an unusually even, natural, and flawless finish, which I never achieved using sponges, brushes or my finger tips. I especially like the sponge’s smooth, suede texture and egg shape (the narrow end is great for around the eyes and nose, while the larger end provides for even application on the cheeks, forhead and chin). I no longer worry about “streaks” and “blotches” in my foundation! The other sponges I’ve used seemed to “soak up” an excessive amount of foundation, which either remainded in the sponge (to be washed out or thown away with the sponge) or ended up as streaks in my foundation. The BeautyBlender does not soak up excessive amounts of foundation so I no longer waste expensive foundations.br /br /It cleans well and is said to last a long time; which given its rather hefty price for a makeup applicator is a plus! I have always used Dove hypoallergenic scent free soap, ever since a dermatologist recommended it to me as a teen. So I’m not into heavily scented soaps, but I decided to give this one a try. And I have to say the scent is just right, not too strong. I’m surprised someone would use the term pungent to describe the scent. It gives me a very fresh, clean feeling, with no lingering scents once I’m rinsed off. If I smell my skin afterwards, it just smells clean and natural. And it lathers up real nice. I keep my head cropped pretty short, and it lathers so good that I use this on my stubble as a shampoo. Pretty much the only thing I use in the shower. Makes a great lather for shaving as well, haven’t bought shaving cream in years. Only downside is, you’ll go through these bars real fast as they tend to dissolve quickly.
